Two prominent UAE businessmen, Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni and Abdulrahman Falaknaz, envisioned Dubai Sports City. Their extensive backgrounds in real estate, retail, and construction are combined with their shared love of sports and their commitment to the athletic lifestyle in this one-of-a-kind project. The greatest sport is life.

Built around five major sports grounds, Dubai Sports City is home to numerous sports academies. The residential portion of the project is situated on Mohammad Bin Zayed Road and comprises of townhouses, villas, and mid-rise apartment complexes. While work has not yet begun on several vacant residential plots, a number of the sporting facilities have already been finished. Canal Residence, Victory Heights, and Gallery Villas are the three separate residential neighborhoods that make up Sports City.

The five apartment buildings that make up Canal Residence are arranged in various architectural styles and are situated next to a 1.2-kilometer-long and 15-meter-wide river. Apartments with one, two, and three bedrooms as well as studios are available; they all have access to shared swimming pools, playgrounds for kids, and community gyms.

Built on the fairways of a golf course, Victory Heights is a development of seven villages with about a thousand villas and townhouses of varying sizes and amenities. Gallery Villas is a posh neighborhood encircling the golf course and featuring seventy-five three- and four-bedroom villas and townhouses.

Dubai Sports City, or DSC, is a contemporary neighborhood with all the conveniences required for a comfortable living.
