DIFC Square Commences Construction on Nearly 1 million Square Foot Development

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has commenced construction on DIFC Square, a prestigious commercial development comprising three interconnected buildings. This landmark project will house offices and retail spaces, significantly enhancing the Centre's real estate offerings to meet the increasing demand for top-tier office spaces in Dubai's financial hub.

Driven by growth in wealth management, asset management, and the insurance sector, DIFC Square has attracted strong interest from tenants, highlighting its strategic location and appeal within DIFC's premium urban commercial real estate market.

Strategically located within DIFC, the project offers proximity to key destinations such as Downtown Dubai, Dubai International Airport, Sheikh Zayed Road, and other major business and leisure districts.

Spanning a plot of 113,500 sq.ft. with a total built-up area (BUA) nearing 1 million sq.ft., DIFC Square will provide future tenants and employees convenient access to DIFC's renowned destinations, including Gate Village for dining, arts, and culture, and Gate Avenue for retail and fitness amenities.

DIFC Square will feature 600,000 sq.ft. of office space and 17,200 sq.ft. of retail space, offering a diverse mix of shops and dining options.

Construction on DIFC Square is progressing rapidly to meet the scheduled handover in Q1 2026, with enabling and foundation works already in progress. The development consists of three buildings ranging from 8 to 13 floors, sharing a basement and three podiums, with heights varying between 58, 68, and 81 meters respectively.
