Aldar and DP World Partner to Develop Cutting-Edge Logistics Park in Dubai

A landmark deal has been struck between Dubai’s DP World and UAE master developer Aldar Properties to finance and construct a state-of-the-art logistics park in Jebel Ali's National Industries Park (NIP), covering 1.55 million square feet (144,000 square meters). This new venture will enhance Dubai's logistics infrastructure, catering to the growing demand for warehousing and logistics services.

Strategic Location and Accessibility

The new logistics park is strategically located near Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport, offering excellent connectivity to major road networks such as the E11 and E311. This prime location within NIP provides unparalleled access to key transportation hubs, facilitating efficient logistics operations.

Project Focus and Tenants

To meet the increasing demand for warehousing facilities, the project will focus on third-party logistics (3PL), eCommerce, and retail tenants looking to expand or relocate. The logistics park is set to begin construction in Q4 2024, with the first tenants expected to move in by Q4 2025. The development aims to attract a diverse range of tenants by offering flexible and scalable logistics solutions.

Advanced Infrastructure and Design

The logistics park will occupy a 2.36 million square foot (220,000 square meter) plot and feature three modular, Grade A, and LEED-certified buildings. These buildings can be reconfigured to accommodate single or multiple tenants, offering adaptable unit sizes to meet varied business needs. The park's design and infrastructure will ensure high efficiency and sustainability.

Comprehensive Development and Management

Aldar Properties will oversee all stages of the logistics park’s development, from planning and design through to implementation and management. This project is part of Aldar’s broader Dh1 billion investment strategy to expand its logistics real estate portfolio in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with additional investments planned as the business grows.
